Because most of the books I read are borrowed from the library, I moved to audiobooks in the summer when I headed to Ontario to spend time with my family and still wanted to take some books with me without the weight. That really changed everything. Long flights, car rides, etc. were now filled with books. In September, I changed my nighttime schedule to read every night before bed. It helped calm me and distract my busy mind which led to much better sleep. This is definitely a change I have kept this year. I usually have 3 to 4 books on the go. One fiction, one non-fiction, a book for school, and an audiobook. I know lots of people who need to finish one book before starting another. Sometimes that does happen. But I also found that depending on how I feel, I often prefer one book to another. Having a few on the go means that I rarely don’t want to read, I just don’t want to read that one so read the other.
